Funny You Should Ask (Thursday, February 20, 1969) ABC-TV Daytime Game Show
hello , shirley , always was and is a beauty😊😊😊😊...........the opening song to this , was terrible..........but enjoyed watching , thank you , for sharing🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰............................p.s. is this some kind'a different take on " bewitched "🤨🤨🤔🤔🤔.............
I would like to see Stump the Stars Syndicated-All Episodes from September 8,1969-September 25,1970 on Mega or OneDrive site itself of RUclips site with video please.
I think this was made by Jack Webb's production company. The blonde, Jenny Maxwell was in Blue Hawaii, with Elvis. A few years down the road, I believe she was murdered in her home.
I'm shocked they didn't use this guy to replace Darrin on Bewitched.
Shirley is wonderful, though the concept leaves a lot to be desired.
Shirley was cute! 😃
After Bewitched William Asher did "The Girl with Somthing Extra" starring Sally Fields. The plot was the same as this show!
I read the comments about this pilot but I could see how it wasn’t picked up. It’s too slow and really not very funny. (More ha ha)The acting Especially by the actress is really poor in my opinion. Imao
Wow! Look at those understated, sparkling chrome accents! It's like a car wearing jewelry! 💍 My favorite is the sedan! But in this day and age, with cars lacking in style and elegance, I'd take any of these beauties! ❤ Thanks for making our day bright right after the 4th of July 2024! 🎉🗽🇺🇲🗽🎉
Louis Jordan music is amazing, pioneered Rhythm & Blues
I love these shows. Ole Dan looks like he lost weight in them. He was much heavier in King of the Rocket men and some Lone Ranger episodes.
Todos os Homens do Presidente é um filmaço,com atuações memoráveis de Redford e Hoffman. 💖👏👏👏🙌👍
I remember Frank Junior discussing how around 1951 his dad's career had hit rock bottom and he was taking any job he could find. He may have meant this gig, among many others.
To Me Joe E Brown Is A Gem Of An Human Being So Loving Caring And His Wife And Family As well. May You Always RIP To A Great Human Being Mr Joe E Brown. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤.
I know why this one didn’t get picked up.
Gorgeous!!!
beautiful, classy, talented,
Eve Arden would have been perfect for the 'Jo' role.
it's great to see joe besser in this episode, it wasn't a bad episode, considering some of these episodes of this show are too broad, i don't know if that's the word, but gilligan's island brings in more humor, and shocked factors, like this show and the other actors are, there not great but there not horrible acting as the characters in the show, but the pace of episodes are not interesting as much, like dusty's trail in 73 and 74, the show goes half pace it's funny in some places but this show is too slow for me.
What network was this?
Now I am imagining a movie in which he and Mary Martin play brother and sister....
I love Mr Karloff 's eyes. Positively scary, even when he wasn't trying to be. Booo!!!!
Any chance for more episodes? 😊
Rationed WWII gasoline meant no beach trip
I believe some of this footage was used in the TOWER RECORDS DOCUMENTARY FILM: "ALL THINGS MUST PASS". Definitely worth seeing for you my fellow music lovers
Mamie Van Doren is so underrated
The game "punch out" is older today than these clips were when punch out came out back in 1987 :)
Mama Partridge! Loved me them TV moms; they seemed so much cooler than my own..
Too bad it didn't go - would have been nice to have had the great character actor, Adolphe Menjou, in a series before he died in 1963.
Lame pilot. The whole Dumb Blonde thing never appealed to me.
it's hard to make a succesful tv show when you have a man that's only popular in gilligan's island, like max bear jr acting career was already dead after the TV show beverly hillbilies, it's like you're career is dead after a hit show due to you're looks, people will always remember you for that hit show, and the rest of you're career is down the toilet.
great footage... thanks
I love these old shows. People just dressed better in those days. Nowadays, you can't even go to the grocery store without seeing someone that looks like they just rolled out of bed. I guess people just don't take any pride in their appearance any more, which seems contradictory since so many people on social media look like they have spent hours getting ready to take that one picture for Instagram, etc.
I had been crushing on Shirley Jones ever since I was a little kid. ❤
What a poor imitation of Marylin.
Funny to see this 😂❤️ I have ESP like this, men just run... its true no one wants their thoughts read
NOT FOR BROADCAST!
Forget the whole thing, Mike; I'll take the bus.
Never knew such a program ever existed, and I grew up during the 1950’s!
This is awful
So beautiful! They sat on her career during her prime years, then give her a band of kids to manage.
I always had a special place in my heart for Shirley Jones. I grew up with her as Shirley Partridge of the Partridge Family. She was like a dream mother to me. Perfect smile, deep soulful eyes. She had and has such a stylistic personality that is so appealing..... I think she must have been the perfect wife as well. Watching her on tv gave me a sense that the world had potential to be a safe understanding place for us all. God bless her!
*"DON'T MISS IT!!"*
My Mom Brought Me Into All In The Family And M*A*S*H.
The title suited Shirley Jones perfectly, she was indeed the dream wife. They don't make women like her anymore, and neither men for that matter.
I wonder what Marilyn Monroe felt..thought of Jayne
Wonderful! Thank you for sharing, Jeff.
3 straight white guys adopting an Asian girl, in 1968. That would be unheard of today, accusations of child molesters would put an end to the situation
Shirley was such a cutie.
Saw Robert Fripp play guitar (Frippertronics) at Tower records a few years after this. Astounding record store unlike any other back then.
